If there’s one Swiss cycling event that truly captures the majesty, drama, and challenge of the Alps, it’s the Alpenbrevet. Each year, riders from around the world arrive in Andermatt to take on some of the country’s most iconic mountain passes – routes that blend postcard beauty with leg-shaking effort and a real sense of achievement. This is not just another sportive; it’s one of Europe’s toughest and most spectacular amateur cycling events. And now, with Swiss Cycology Tours, you can experience it all with every logistical detail taken care of.

Your Alpenbrevet experience – fully managed by Swiss Cycology Tours (3-6 September, 2026)

For 2026, we’re offering an exclusive Alpenbrevet Package for up to eight riders, running from 3–6 September. This is the stress-free, fully supported way to experience Switzerland’s most legendary one-day challenge – whether you choose the Gold or Silver route. Our Alpenbrevet Package includes everything you need for a smooth, stress-free and unforgettable cycling escape:

✔ Guaranteed Entry to the Alpenbrevet 2026: No need to fight for places or navigate registration. We secure your entry – whether you choose the Gold or Silver route.

✔ 3 Nights’ Accommodation (3–6 September): Stay in comfortable, cyclist-friendly accommodation close to the action in Andermatt. You and your group of up to eight riders will have space to relax, prepare and sleep well before the big day.

✔ Airport transfers: We’ll collect you and your bikes from the airport and transport you directly to your accommodation. No trains, no stress – just seamless travel from the moment you land.

✔ Welcome dinner: Start your trip with a group dinner, the perfect opportunity to get excited about the days ahead.

✔ Warm-up rides: We organise optional warm-up rides to get your legs turning, shake off travel fatigue, and familiarise you with the local terrain.

✔ Full van support: Our support van is with you during the warm-up rides, providing (amongst other things) mechanical assistance and nutrition and hydration.

The Gold Route

For riders craving the ultimate alpine challenge, the Gold route is a spectacular test. With more than 5,000 metres of climbing and passes such as the Susten, Grimsel, and Furka, this route offers everything you dream of when you imagine Swiss mountain riding. It’s steep, demanding, unforgettable – a bucket-list ride for any serious cyclist.

The Silver Route

A more accessible option without losing any of the drama, the Silver route still includes legendary climbs and around 3,000 metres of elevation gain. It’s ideal for strong riders who want to experience the Alpenbrevet magic without tackling the full Gold distance. The views are every bit as impressive – and the sense of achievement is just as real.

No matter which you choose, the Alpenbrevet delivers a unique blend of perfectly organised Swiss efficiency and raw alpine beauty. Many riders call it the most rewarding day they’ve ever spent on a bike.
