A note on the weather
What we believe truly sets our Swiss cycling tours apart are the spectacular Alpine passes we guide you across – each one reaching heights of over 2,000 metres above sea level. At these elevations, weather conditions can be rather changeable. Whilst we do our utmost to plan around any challenges, occasionally our routes and itinerary may require adjustment, and we'll always provide you with the earliest possible notice should this be necessary. We appreciate your flexibility.

Questions about the
Andermatt Icons Tour?
What are the accommodation options?
Our accommodation is based on 4/3-star hotels, meaning that you can relax and recover in comfort. Specific details on the hotels will be shared in the pre-tour information pack. If you’d like to discuss other accommodation options that might better suit your needs, please contact us.
How large are the groups on the tours, and is there a minimum or maximum group size?
Our ideal group size is 8 people, which we find to be the perfect number in terms of helping generate a team spirit but also allowing us to make sure everyone gets the care and attention they deserve. However, if you had a specific group size in mind, please contact us to see what might be possible.
What kind of support is provided during the rides?
Our team van will meet you at various points on each ride, the locations of which will be communicated at the start of each day, meaning that you can regularly rest and refuel as needed. The van will carry food and drink and other essentials like a toolkit and spare inner tubes. And of course, any items of personal kit that you don’t want to carry yourself.
How fit do I need to be to take part in one of your Swiss cycling holidays?
One of the things that we think make our rides so special, is the mountain passes that we take you over – all of which top out at more than 2,000m above sea level. With this can come some unpredictable weather, and a range of temperatures as you ascend and descend. Our advice is to dress in layers, so that you adjust what you wear as necessary. But don’t worry too much, as our tour van is always on hand, allowing you to rest and warm up as needed, and of course, to carry any spare kit that you don’t want to ride with.
